MuslimTorrents
A members-only library of Islamic media
Our members share Qur'an recitations, lectures, Islamic books and documentaries, and MuslimTorrents seeds its own copies so most of it stays available.
Reading the catalogue needs no account. Downloading does.
Ummah Library is the Ummah Media Group library project building at library.ummah.city.
What you can read without an account
The catalogue lists the category, the title and the description of every item in the Library. That is the shop window: it exists so you can see what is inside before you join, and so search engines can find the Library at all.
The catalogue never shows an announce address, a magnet link, a torrent file, a seeder or leecher count, or a member's name. Those need a signed-in account.
What a membership adds
- Downloading every item in the catalogue.
- Requesting content the Library does not have yet.
- Sharing what you hold, so others can download it.
Membership runs through UmmahPass. You sign in there once, and the Library opens.
How sharing works here
Sharing is peer to peer. When you download, your client connects to other members directly, so those members' clients can see your IP address. A passkey inside your own torrent files links your traffic to your account.
Downloading is not anonymous. If that matters to you, read the privacy policy before you join.
New to torrents?
The getting started guide walks you through a download client in about a minute. It is free, it needs no account, and it explains the ratio before you owe anything.
